In a world of digital natives and immigrants, I am an architect. I find the distinctions to be not very important.
I spent 15 years in the software business. I became disillusioned during the dot com boom (fortunately before the crash) and decided to pursue a career as a teacher.
I am currently teaching math to a range of eighth graders at a middle school in east Los Angeles.
I am not sure about a lot of the things that I do, but I do them to the best of my ability.
This blog is an attempt to capture, in a human form, how I try to teach.
